What is Horizon?

Horizon Communications is a new wireless internet company that will start operations in Bermuda first, and expand to more Caribbean regions. They will offer services that use wireless LTE technology to generate 150 mbps internet speed, VOIP phone offerings, and high definition TV services. The goal is to provide access to great services for customers currently using poor and poor quality services.

Horizon estimates that their service coverage will include ninety-five percent of homes in Bermuda with minimal tower usage. Offshore coverage can be up to fifteen miles offshore. The marketing plan within four or five years is getting at least fifteen percent of the market in Bermuda. The goal is to generate a total income of around forty-four million in five years at a cost of about twenty-six million.

Horizon will have exclusive rights to use its technology in this region. By using more efficient technology, they will be able to provide lower and more competitive prices on the market. Horizon uses what's called fixed wireless technology. Fixed means access is provided by using radio waves to a single location. This means no need for expensive phone lines and expensive cables installed. Houses using this service will install the antenna on the outside of the house. 4G LTE equipment using Horizon will be capable of delivering speeds up to 300 Mbps. They want to build the most reliable network.

Horizon will also utilize blockchain technology in several different ways. They will have their own etiquette called the Horizon token, the symbol of HRZN. The person holding the token is entitled to a discount for service. They also plan to distribute dividends with token holders and hold a token buyback program with a portion of their profits. The targeted amount for the dividend distribution is fifteen percent, and about five percent is targeted for the repurchase program.

In addition to high-speed Internet, they transmit high definition television services. Internet Protocol (VoIP) service. This wireless infrastructure will be transferred through user software using the LTE-Advanced 4G standard. 

After attracting and successfully growing capital,  Horizon  plans to launch a business in Bermuda by mid 2018.  By using this technology, they will be distributed to Caribbean countries and other countries in Central America. Horizon is expected   to close with a network of over 95% of Bermuda homes and businesses with a small number of towers. The sea cover will cover about 15 miles from the beach. They want to build the most reliable network.

Schwartz intends to enter the Bermuda market within 5 months after a capital infusion. At the same time,  Horizon plans to cover at least 15% of the Bermuda market within 4-5 years.
